2017 comtac receives the first certifications for LoRa Modbus Bridge and LoRa Lighting Bridge.
2016 comtac sets up an LPN application with almost 400 LoRa nodes in one network.
Bettschen Elektronik AG becomes comtac AG.
2015 Initial product developments for the LoRa LPN are launched.
2014 The test facility for endurance tests and environmental simulations is set up.
2013 The developer crew is expanded.
2012 The company is integrated into the “Amalthea Holding” group.
2010 Representation of myGEKKO home automation is taken over for Switzerland.
2009 The new IO system for myGEKKO is developed.
2008 The company specialises in LED technologies.
2007 The office is expanded to approx. 800 m2, warehouse and shipping in the basement.
2004 Digital cameras are developed for professional users.
2000 The Midi-RIO product range (MR-16DO, MR-16DI, MR-8AO, MR-8AI, etc.) is developed.
1999 The company moves to its current premises (Allenwindenstrasse 1, 8247 Flurlingen), area approx. 320 m2.
1991 The company specialises in modules for building automation and launches substation products for fieldbus systems (US16DO, US32DI, US8AI, US8AO).
1989 The company moves to a new office (Güterstrasse 8, 8245 Feuerthalen), area approx. 160 m2.
1988 Herbert and Jeanette Bettschen found Bettschen Elektronik AG as a one-man engineering firm, located in a 12 m2 home attic with a tiled stove.
